Today I made a complete lap around one of the buildings in my apartment complex on my unicycle - without falling off. Sure, we’re talking about maybe three or four hundred feet here, but you have no idea how hard the course is.
I made it over the hill of death (which is maybe 12 inches high and not really steep, but it still throws me pretty often), past the gully of doom (the tiny little rain gutter in the middle of the parking lot which freaks me out by its presence), and around all four corners of, err… breathtaking cornerness.
By the end of the lap, my thighs were freaking killing me and I was already pretty worn out.
It felt like victory.
