Have you ever stepped in a puddle and thought “hey, it’s not raining outside. Was that a puddle of water or something else? Maybe I should have gone around!”
Have you ever finished eating, and as you clear your plate you see a little tiny piece of food on the table next to where your dish was, so without really thinking about it you stick it in your mouth, then a split second later you realize you’re not really sure what it was or how long it had been there, and so before the taste of the mystery stuff can hit you you quickly spit it out again?
Have you ever pulled a booger out of your nose, and it turned out to be really long and kind of stringy and as it slides out of your nose it feels like the end of it might be attached somewhere up in your brain, and as it’s pulling out, and out, and out you’re thinking “wow, that’s a damn impressive booger.”
Yeah, well… me neither.
