When I was looking at some of the comments on my last post, I happened to notice that the comments all referred to post number 99.
I guess that would make this my 100th post.
It seems like the occasion should be marked somehow - but I’m not sure exactly what I should do. It’s a little bit like when you buy a car and you’ve been driving it for a while and you hit that first 10,000 mile mark - and maybe you look down for a second and you say “gee, look at all those zeroes.” Then there’s really nothing to do about it but to drive on until the meter reads 10,001 miles and the moment has passed.
Well… here’s to my first 100 posts - some better than others, some spit out off the cuff (like this one), a few agonized over for hours, and one or two deleted or made private after further consideration in a more sober frame of mind. I’ve had a little fun, I’ve purged a demon or two (at least for a time), and I’ve kept touch with a friends who drop by off and on when they have a spare moment or when they’re avoiding real work.
Now I guess it’s time to drive on.
